Family Access to Medical Insurance Security (FAMIS) is for children under 19 years old with working parents who may not qualify for Medicaid.

Youth in foster care up to age 18, as well as former foster youth ages 18-26, are eligible for coverage.

Anthem HealthKeepers Plus members can receive no-cost access to the Foodsmart nutrition program. Foodsmart connects members with a registered dietitian and offers help with meal planning, shopping on a budget, and food delivery.

To help stay enrolled with the Anthem HealthKeepers Plus plan, keep the open enrollment dates for the following regions in mind. *
Tidewater: February 19 – April 30
Central Virgina: April 19 – June 30
Northern Virginia: June 19 – August 31
Charlottesville and Western Halifax: August 19 – October 31
Roanoke, Allegheny, and Southwest Virgina: December 19 – February 28
