Anthem members can now access Lin Health Medical Group’s first-of-its-kind treatment in Maine
SOUTH PORTLAND, MAINE — Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Maine has added Lin Health Medical Group, a specialty medical practice offering therapy and coaching for treatment of chronic pain, to its statewide care provider network. The addition of Lin Health is part of Anthem’s continuing efforts to expand access to care across Maine.
Lin Health’s program, the first of its kind to be offered in Maine, is built on an evidence-based approach to managing chronic pain that addresses the cognitive, emotional, and behavioral patterns affecting the experience of pain. Lin Health’s care model includes one-on-one pain recovery coaching and integrative support with medical oversight. This low-risk form of chronic pain treatment provides a safe alternative to opioid medication or surgery, offering better pain relief and more accessible and effective care. Lin Health recently opened a location in Portland and offers treatment in person and/or virtually.

Lin Health offers treatment options for conditions such as back and neck pain, fibromyalgia, migraines, long COVID, chronic fatigue, and many other pain experiences lasting longer than three to six months.
