Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield and Central Maine Healthcare Announce New Multi-Year Contract

 

SOUTH PORTLAND, MAINE — Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Maine and Central Maine Healthcare have renewed a new multi-year agreement with the health system’s three hospitals, facilities, and providers in Anthem’s network. 
 

“We are pleased to have reached an agreement that continues to make quality healthcare accessible for our members in central Maine,” said Denise McDonough, president of Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Maine. “We value our relationship with Central Maine Healthcare as we work together to tackle healthcare affordability and improve lives and communities for the thousands of Mainers we mutually serve.”

The new agreement applies to Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield members enrolled in commercial and Medicare Advantage plans.
