ProHealth Care and Anthem Expand Access for Individual Health Plan Members in Waukesha County

WAUKESHA, Wisc.   Thousands of Greater Milwaukee health care consumers will now have expanded access to Waukesha County’s premier health system. ProHealth Care’s hospitals, primary and specialty care clinics, and network of more than 800 medical professionals are now available as in-network care providers to Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield members with Healthcare Marketplace individual health plans.

“ProHealth Care is pleased to partner with Anthem to give area residents more local health care options on the Health Insurance Marketplace,” said Peter Bacon, ProHealth Care’s chief integration and business development officer. “With virtual, urgent, emergency, primary and specialty care options, we make it easy for people in and around Waukesha County to access the care they need, when and where they need it.”
 
Anthem’s Marketplace and off-exchange plans are now anchored by ProHealth Care in Waukesha County and by Ascension Wisconsin in metro Milwaukee and the Fox Valley. Those that qualify for federal subsidies are eligible to sign up for plans that range from $0 in cost up to a 20 percent savings. These benefits rich plans also feature $0 preventive care visits, prescription drug coverage and predictable out-of-pocket costs for consumers. All Anthem health plans offer 24/7 access to doctors and therapists, including virtual visits through Sydney Health, Anthem’s mobile app, and at Anthem.com.
 
Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Wisconsin President Paul Nobile said that in addition to offering increased access to high-quality, affordable healthcare, ProHealth Care and Anthem will also improve care delivery through a data sharing and collaboration to improve and better personalize care.
