Anthem and Quest Diagnostics Establish Collaboration In Colorado to Improve Laboratory Testing Options

Goal to improve care, reduce costs, and enhance experiences
DENVER, CO – Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield and Quest Diagnostics, a leading provider of diagnostic information services, today announced a new agreement in Colorado, ensuring Anthem members have access to high-quality lab testing options with lower costs and improved experiences.
Through this collaboration, members enrolled in Anthem’s employer-based, individual, and Medicare Advantage health plans will have in-network access to Quest’s broad range of services, including routine medical tests, advanced diagnostics, and a strong pathologist network effective January 1, 2025. Members will also benefit from access to Quest’s network of patient service centers featuring online appointment scheduling and the free myQuest mobile app for receiving testing updates and results. This collaboration underscores Anthem’s commitment to providing patient-centered care and comprehensive support.

In addition to patient service centers, Quest operates a clinical laboratory in Denver that is one of the first in the company’s national network to pilot digital and AI pathology technologies aiding cancer diagnosis.
