Behavioral Health Provider Resources

Most people don’t view their physical and mental health as separate, and neither do we. Behavioral health benefits are integrated into Anthem medical plans for a full spectrum of coordinated care for our members. Become an Anthem provider and join the nation’s second- largest health plan-owned behavioral health company, serving more than 13.8 million members.

We are currently accepting requests to join our network from psychiatrists, psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners, neuropsychologists and providers who render ABA services. (We regret we are not accepting unsolicited participation requests from other health care professionals at this time.)

Facilities interested in joining our network can learn more in our Interested Facility Process Guide  guide.

Provider Collaboration

The Anthem Behavioral Health Provider Collaboration program is a value-based payment opportunity that recognizes large-volume behavioral health providers and substance use disorder facilities that offer improved treatment outcomes for our members. This program is a pioneering venture that is unique to the health plan industry.
