Prevea Health and HSHS Hospitals in Eastern Wisconsin will stay with Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield

 

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS), Prevea Health, and Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Wisconsin have reached a new multiyear agreement. This allows Anthem members to keep getting care at Prevea Health and HSHS hospitals in Eastern Wisconsin – St. Vincent and St. Mary’s in Green Bay; St. Nicholas in Sheboygan; and St. Clare Memorial in Oconto Falls.
 

Anthem works with doctors and health care partners to ensure our members have access to quality, low-cost health care. Wisconsin health care costs are among the highest in the nation. That’s why this agreement is a big win for members.
 

The new agreement also includes value-based care arrangements, a fast-growing national health care delivery and payment model that connects higher reimbursements to doctors who produce quality outcomes. Value-based care delivery models have been shown to improve results, reduce cost and provide a better patient experience.
