The new Standard Network is available starting January 1, 2021, so we want to make sure you have all the tools you need to find a participating retail pharmacy near you.

Resources to use:

  • Refer to your plan materials or contact your employer to find out which pharmacy network is offered with your 2021 health insurance coverage.
  • If you will have the standard network in 2021, check to make sure your current pharmacy will participate in the standard network by clicking on Standard Network pharmacy location link on the previous page. This directory gives you the convenience of previewing your participating network pharmacy options before your health insurance coverage effective date.
  • Once your health insurance coverage starts, you will be able to log in at anthem.com/ca or on the Sydney Health mobile app to use the online pharmacy search tool on the Pharmacy page
  • You will be responsible for paying the full cost of the drug if you continue using a non-participating pharmacy.

What you can do next:

  • Once you have identified a participating standard network pharmacy, transfer your prescription(s) to minimize potential interruption in your drug coverage.
    • If you’d like to switch pharmacies, take a copy of your prescription to the new pharmacy and ask the new pharmacy to contact your old one, or ask your doctor to send a new prescription to the new pharmacy instead
