Network Status Update: University of California Health System

Anthem Blue Cross and the University of California Health System have successfully reached agreement on a new multi-year contract that focuses on quality and affordability for Anthem members. The new contract provides Anthem members the reassurance, comfort, and convenience of continued in-network access to the health system’s doctors and hospitals.

Anthem members who have questions or need assistance can call the toll-free member number listed on their Anthem member ID card.

In addition to using a telehealth service, you can receive in-person or virtual care from your own doctor or another healthcare provider in your plan’s network. If you receive care from a doctor or healthcare provider not in your plan’s network, your share of the costs may be higher. You may also receive a bill for any charges not covered by your health plan.
